Shout Out to the Parents

My parents are overprotective but I like how I turned out. So even though I struggled and didn’t appreciate their parenting, and sometimes still don’t, I love them and understand why they do the things they do :D

Thank You Note

I’d like to thank God and Saint Anthony for their guidance. I’d like to thank Khimee for her forever support and not dismissing it as a paper clip. I’d like to thank Tidewater Rental and Sales in Glen Burnie for the rental of the metal detector. I’d like to thank that metal detector for being a metal detector.

:D

Anguish

It’s official. I am the most absent-minded, forgetful, looses-most-everything person EVER!

My college ring that I just got two weeks ago that cost $600 that my great-aunt and -uncle graciously paid for is lost. It was half a size too big, when I got it in the mail my mom was like why don’t you just leave it here and we can get it re-sized but nooo. It was pretty and I like rings and I don’t own any and I wanted to wear it. Stupid stubborness.

The FASA picnic at the park was great. Great food, great company, great memories. The weather held up OK. Of course there were sporty activities and me participating in the activities and my ring falling off my finger while throwing a football and me thinking that it would be a better idea for me to put my ring in my sweatpants pocket so that it wouldn’t slip off… and me continuing to participate in the activities that would probably cause my ring to fall out of that pocket and me realizing in dismay just a moment ago that all of this is the reality.

:’(

Did anyone happen to see anything shiny and round (as in a ring) on the ground when they were cleaning up at the picnic?

*From the Couch in front of the Window of the 3rd floor of the MP building*
So I’m sitting here in my usual studying nook…..
OMG cholesterol. I JUST SAW ALYSSA! from my nook’s window :D that makes this post even a bajillion times better!
It makes it that much better because I was just about to say that I was looking out my window at the beautiful blue sky, and a surge of good feeling rushed over me.
… have to finish this post a little later because I really should be studying for my 2 quizzes and exam today.
*CONTINUATION*
So even with all the things I have yet to accomplish, LIFE IS GOOD DUDE! It’s all about knowing yourself, making (not breaking) connections, and appreciating all that is right in front of you! And right now, I am thoroughly appreciating.
